曼陀罗，
在瘠瘠荒漠中、在层层火山灰下、在郁郁山林里、在片片青瓦上，
隐藏了数百年，与神秘古老的传说从容邂逅。
花落如雨，风沙相拥，花瓣铺展开成一袭羽衣，在暗夜闪烁各异颜色，
如凝夜秾丽的紫、云母瓷白的银、翠微苍苍的绿、晴山云水的蓝……
曼陀罗，
可以是关于宇宙苍穹的遐思、是平面与立体的形状、或海湾上的一轮满月，
其能量来自于’圆’，通过几何结构，加上色彩渲染出的力量，联结内心，创造出能量磁场。
它像一种精神秩序，承载着我们过去与未来的心灵痕迹，以内在个体为圆心形成自我的投射，不同性格发散各异的色彩分布，即每个人的曼陀罗。
2024年张哲瀚全新专辑《曼陀罗》四重奏以四种花色《曼陀罗·绀》、《曼陀罗·银》、《曼陀罗·碧》、《曼陀罗·晴》为篇章，以色彩为乐音着色，用颜色缀点外部视觉与内在势能，呈现多面立体的音乐注解，谱写曼陀罗的多彩盛放。

Datura, hidden for hundreds of years beneath the barren deserts, layers of volcanic ash, dense mountain forests, and on pieces of blue tiles, serenely encounters the mysterious and ancient legends. Flowers fall like rain, embraced by the wind and sand, their petals unfolding into a garment of feathers, shimmering in the dark night with various colors – like the rich purple of a dense night, the mica porcelain white of silver, the lush green of verdant hills, the blue of sunny mountains and water…

Datura can be a contemplation about the cosmos, a shape in both two and three dimensions, or a full moon over a bay. Its energy comes from ‘the circle’, forming a magnetic field of energy through geometric structures and the power rendered by colors, connecting to the heart. It’s like a spiritual order, carrying the soul traces of our past and future, forming a projection of self with the individual at its center. Different personalities radiate varying distributions of colors, each person’s own Datura.

In 2024, Zhang Zhehan’s new album ‘Datura’ Quartet features four color themes – ‘Datura · Purple’, ‘Datura · Silver’, ‘Datura · Green’, and ‘Datura · Sunny’. Using color as the melody, embellishing external visuals and internal potential with colors, it presents a multi-dimensional musical interpretation, composing the colorful blossoming of the Datura.
