Zhang Zhehan Wins Two Major Awards from Lion City Radio Station! Uses New Song “Chase” to Encourage Fans

(Singapore, 27th) Zhang Zhehan, who debuted in 2009, gained widespread attention for his role as the male lead Zhou Zishu in the martial arts drama “Word of Honor.” In 2022, he released his official album “Deep Blue,” and his songs were well-loved by fans. This year, his latest album “Datura” was presented in a quartet format. Zhang Zhehan’s singles have consistently ranked high on various Singaporean charts, and on the 25th, he was delighted to receive the “Artiste of the Year” award at the “YES933 Music Trend Festival,” with his song “Magnificent Life” being voted as the “Hit of the Year.”

In 2023, Zhang Zhehan has been tirelessly performing in various places. After concluding two concerts in Bangkok in May as part of the “Primordial Theater” tour, he moved his concert to Kuala Lumpur in September. Following the Kuala Lumpur concert, Zhang Zhehan released a new song, “Chase.” He incorporates his thoughts on life, music, and drama into his songs. Although Zhang Zhehan has been focusing on his music career in recent years, “Chase” led him to a realization that both acting and singing, besides requiring repeated practice and technique, also need sincere expression.

At the end of 2023, Zhang Zhehan didn’t slow down. In addition to hosting the “2023 [Chase] Zhang Zhehan Singapore Fan Meeting” on the 26th, he also attended and received the “Artiste of the Year” award at the “YES933 HitFest Festival” on the 25th. Dressed in a black rock rascal style, Zhang Zhehan performed five songs with live band accompaniment, including “Melancholy ,Sunshine” “Magnificent LIfe,” “Time to Leave” “Datura,” and “Chase.” Among them, “Magnificent Life” was voted as the “Hit of the Year.”

Zhang Zhehan expressed his gratitude for the recognition of his music in Singapore, thanking YES 933 radio and his fans. He said emotionally, “I am still a newcomer in the music industry, and there are many seniors present. Hearing their performances makes me nervous too. I hope to continue working hard in music and thank my fans for coming to support me and voting for me. ‘Magnificent Life’ is a song I wrote during the lockdown, opening a new path for me. I plan to create more as a singer.” Before his final performance of “Chase,” Zhang Zhehan encouraged his fans to bravely pursue what they desire, saying, “Some chase dreams, some chase the ones they love, and some chase the person they aspire to be within.
