《Lost in London》

2024年5月，张哲瀚走在伦敦的街道，路过新被雨水浸过的公园，成群的雀鸟停在喷泉池边，走到天色渐晚，月光在古老碎石路辚辚而行。这一天，古老与现代交织，文化和历史融汇，每个角落似乎都藏着未知的际遇。

歌手回到公寓找出一张白纸和铅笔，听着窗外的风声，开始写下这一天的城市浪游记，即第一版歌词的原稿，“One Day, 我们会相遇在转角咖啡店；One Day, 那悲欢离合的序曲，唱响在古老剧院；One Day, 我看着书，光洒落在红漆脱落的窗沿。”

回国后，张哲瀚便与作曲老师展开接洽，讨论这首歌的曲风方向和创作理念，进入到编曲的过程，他与制作人尝试了鼓、风笛、风琴等不同配乐方案，并重新开始填词。一次次的调整更像一步步深入这座城市，带着向往与好奇，将自己异国生活的经历和感触移植到音乐之上，将自己对于这座城市的体会和漫游铺陈于歌词之上。

从创作周期上，这首歌从成型到录制再到上线维续了半年之久，也许就像歌手说的“并不是一开始就迷失在伦敦，而是先期待，再发现，越走越深陷其中，从而在盛大的光景中迷失”。从未想过，原本只是想探索这座城市的故事，竟在身影流转、路灯夜火中迷失，漫步在厚重的历史长河中，每一次相见也许是擦身而过，也许是素未谋面，而每一步都是流动的盛宴。

Lost in London

In May 2024, Zhang Zhehan wandered the streets of London, passing through a park freshly kissed by rain. Flocks of sparrows gathered by the fountain, and as dusk fell, the moonlight followed him along the ancient cobblestone paths. That day, the old and the new intertwined, culture and history converged, and every corner seemed to hide an unexpected encounter waiting to unfold.

Back at his apartment, the singer took out a blank sheet of paper and a pencil. Listening to the wind outside his window, he began to write a journal of his urban exploration—a draft of the first lyrics:
“One day, we’ll meet at the corner café.
One day, the prelude of joy and sorrow will echo in an ancient theater.
One day, I’ll read by the window, sunlight spilling over its chipped red frame.”

After returning home, Zhang Zhehan connected with his composition teacher to discuss the song’s style and creative direction. As the arrangement process began, he and the producer experimented with different instrumental options—drums, bagpipes, organ—revisiting and revising the lyrics along the way. Each adjustment felt like taking another step deeper into the city, carrying a sense of wonder and curiosity, transplanting his overseas experiences and reflections into the music. The lyrics became a vivid map of his feelings and wanderings through the city.

The song took six months to evolve, from its initial concept to recording and release. As Zhang Zhehan put it, “I didn’t lose myself in London right away. First, I anticipated it, then I discovered it. The more I explored, the deeper I fell, until I was utterly captivated by its grandeur.” What began as a simple desire to explore the city’s stories turned into a journey of being lost—lost in the glow of streetlights and the flow of fleeting silhouettes, in the deep currents of history. Every encounter might be a fleeting brush with a stranger, yet every step felt like a moving feast.
